Carry The Cure is also available to your community as a resource for suicide/substance abuse prevention, as well as relationship and marriage workshops, and other events to help the local community.

“A key part of being prepared for suicide intervention is knowing your community’s resources. For those of you who have not participated in ASIST, the workshop’s model is provided below as a guide to understanding community resources. We have added some examples of the kind of resources that fit in each of the three rings. The process of getting help from others can move in multiple directions. If you are an outer ring caregiver, you may seek help from a resource in the “9 to 5” and/or natural support resource for ongoing support. Linking with others within a ring is also quite common as persons within a ring refer to, consult with and support each other.”
