Project Needs

*Donations can be mailed to address at the bottom of this page.  All donations are tax deductible.  Carry the Cure is a 501(c)3 organization.

Carry the Cure has several ministry projects that we are raising funding for.  Carry the Cure (CTC) has many requests for our program throughout the state of Alaska and throughout North America.  The largest challenge is raising funding for travel and other expenses.  Listed below are a few of our upcoming projects that we are fundraising for:

Iditarod Outreach 2011 (Feb.24 - March 6, 2011) - CTC and Broken Walls will be visiting seven communities in Alaska.  Five of the villages are on the Iditarod trail.  We will be chartering two planes through MARC Aviation, taking a team of 9 (including Broken Walls), bringing 2,000 lbs. of equipment and supplies in order to present our suicide prevention school assemblies, workshops and an evening concert with Broken Walls.  The cost of this project is $20,000.

Southeast Alaska Tour 2011 (April 2011) - $8,000

Barrow 2011 - $7,500

Kotz, Kiana and NW Alaska Tour - $8,000

Hooper Bay, Bethel and Aniak Tour 2011 - This project will include chartering planes, offering suicide prevention school assemblies, community workshops and evening outreach.  The estimated cost of this project is $8,500

Road system tour 2011 (May 2011)- Carry the Cure is planning a trip to visit schools between the Mat-Su Borough and Fairbanks (including Nenana Boarding School) for Committed to Life suicide prevention school assemblies and evening youth rallies.  The tentative schedule is May 2011.  The project cost $5,000
